People spend forty years becoming half good at something they hate.
Then they retire.
Then they die.
And we call it normal.
Don’t waste your life working in a job you don’t care about.
Find out what you’re good at.
Find out what you care about.
It’s the thing you always want to work on.
When you find it, devote yourself to it.
You don’t need to rush.
You just need to get a little bit better every day.
Work on it a little bit every day.
Not too much. Just consistently.
Let other people do the things they do better.
Focus on what you’re good at.
Don’t waste your time trying to do things you you hate.
That will exhaust you.
You have a limited number of years.
Use them intelligently.
Imagine reaching the end of your life having done everything expected of you.
Everything sensible.
Everything safe.
Except the one thing you might have been extraordinary at.
